Electrical Equipment and Take Back Scheme

The take back of old electronic and electrical equipment to retailers and civic amenity sites has proven to be an overwhelming success. Ireland is now set to exceed targets set under the 2002 EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) which took effect on 13 August 2005.
